Looking for beautiful white sand and crystal clear waters? Come ride in the Gulf of Mexico! Our sole launch point, 2nd Avenue, works nicely, but you'll need to be careful about not parking your car here for any longer than it takes you to unload your gear, as parking is enforced. Streets north and south of 2nd Avenue also have beach access, but similarly you won't be able to park long-term.
As good as it gets.
Expect to see powerboats, but you won't feel crowded out - there's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the water.
Inexperienced riders should aim for green flag days, or rides early in the morning to find calm conditions. As the day progresses, conditions can get choppier and will require skill at managing surf.

This beach access has a nice sandy unloading zone, and the shoreline is only a short walk. Be extremely careful about parking here, though. Parking requires a pass and is enforced by meter maids. Park here to unload your board and then drive your car to the nearest public parking you can find. This works best if you have a friend around to watch over your gear.
