War Hill Park is a large park with Camp sites, picnic tables, sand beach, volley ball court, and restrooms. - Bryan V.
Clear lake water, several feet of visibility.
Early mornings there is minimal boat traffic. Early afternoons during the week see minimal to moderate boat traffic. Weekends and late afternoons can see moderate to high boat traffic.
This is a nice area for Beginners, except for weekends and late afternoons when the boat traffic can make riding a little more difficult. All riders will enjoy exploring the many fingers and coves from here.

4081 War Hill Park Rd. Dawsonville, Georgia 30534 United States
This is a Dawson County park with plenty of parking, though there is an entry fee. You can use your annual pass or purchase a day ($6) or annual ($30) pass, credit card only, on site. Camp sites must be reserved on line.
You can pull down the boat ramp and unload onto the small sand beach to launch. For weekends or other busy times when boat wakes can make launch from the ramps difficult, you can pull around to the picnic table area to launch. The water will be much calmer, but getting your foil from your vehicle to the water is more challenging.
