Young Deer Creek Park has picnic tables, a sand beach with swimming area, a swing set, and restrooms. There are plenty of areas to explore and play for all levels of riders.
For weekends I would recommend avoiding this area, but if you must, only intermediate to advanced riders as the boat traffic can make it difficult to get up and stay up.
For those with folding props early mornings to mid afternoon can sometimes be good for wake thieving. Please be respectful of wake surfers/foilers/boarders. -Bryan
Clear Lake water, several feet of visibility.
Early mornings there is minimal boat traffic. Early afternoons during the week see minimal to moderate boat traffic. Weekends and late afternoons can see high boat traffic. Weekend boaters are not courteous, do not pay attention, and will run you down.
This is a great park for that first ride as you can learn just off the beach, never far from shore, but have plenty of room to run once you are up.

This is a Forsyth County park with plenty of parking, though there is an entry fee. You can use your annual pass or purchase a day ($10) or annual ($60) pass, credit card only, on site.
You can launch from the grass or beach between the boat ramps and the swing set.
